A few computers in the workplace are running on older versions of WIndows OS like XP & Vista. Are there any security patches for them to prevent ransomware/malware attacks?

    They're called Windows 7, 8.1 and 10.

The support date for those OSes have long since passed and they are no longer supported by Microsoft for the majority of users. Get them upgraded.
