I just got the creators update on my SP3 and my pen is behaving strangely. The top button has quit working, and it no longer shows up under Bluetooth devices. I've tried following the steps to pair it again but nothing happens.

The odd thing is it still writes, and pressure sensitivity is working, even when Bluetooth is disabled. I thought these pens required a Bluetooth connection to work? Would of sworn it didn't work without Bluetooth in the past.

I've tried pulling the battery, and the battery in the pen isn't more than a few months old, I've had to replace it in the past. Every thing I look up on Google shows how to pair the pen via Bluetooth in windows 8, which again leads me to believe it shouldn't work when it doesn't show up under Bluetooth.

    Any ideas or suggestions?
