Sorry if this is a very old and common issue, I'm not very pc savvy.
I Googled but only something about Run this line in W7 from 2010. Also something about the file names getting changed inadvertently.
I have a Lenovo L420 i3 laptop (I think) on W10 Pro and tried to play music through headphones at a hotel last night.
The music now doesn't show in Media Player, but all 15gb of my favourite ripped albums are in Storage.
I tried a WMP help setting.
In the last few days it had trouble for the very first time downloading or installing the latest Windows "thing". It would restate it was ready to download or install, or say restart and try again.
I don't have my laptop for a few hours or I would post a screenshot.
Also sorry if this doesn't belong in AAQ. I'm used to Android Central where there is a General Help and How To or General Discussion, but I didn't think General Discussions here was appropriate.
Is this a simple fix?
I can transfer the music again from my old PC when I get home I guess.
