Lumia 640 XX dual SIM started giving me the following error...

My lumia 640 xl started giving me the following error message - "The SIM card is missing or invalid . You can still make emergency calls if your mobile operator supports this. What could the cause of this error be?

Have you tried reseating the SIM card? That is take it out and then put it back in. Also try restarting your phone. It is also possible that your SIM has gone bad, this DOES happen. Your carrier should be able to replace it often for free, or for a small charge.

Swop with another phone to see if it's sim card fault.
