Pictures not imported

I connected a ZTE Z815 to a Dell Inspiron in hopes of transferring photos and videos. It partly worked, but I can't get it to copy the others. I tried using it as a media device, mtp, and camera, ptp, and I also got the driver installed, or at least it claimed that. What else can I do to get the rest in the PC? It's 32 bit, with Windows 8.1 and more than 200 GB on the hard drive, and the phone has 8 GB with 1 RAM and a 32 GB SD card, as well as Android 6.0.1

Put the sd card in a USB card reader for the PC and copy media to the PC.
