Is it available on windows 10? Also it possible to set a thirdparty keyboard as default keyboard? Thanks for taking the time.

Windows 10 has the WP8.1/W10M swipe keyboard, starting with the Fall Creators Update.

Assuming you are talking about Windows 10 on desktop, you can get third-party keyboards. The default keyboard is actually just a normal app, that runs in the background. A third-party app can do the same thing, although these aren't really popular anymore (they used to be, back on Vista and 7).

The default keyboard does have a number of different layouts, including the normal keyboard, one that emulates a full-size desktop keyboard (with function keys and everything), the mobile/swipe keyboard, a split layout, the handwriting panel, and a dictation panel (which can be used with or without the other layouts).

On the touch keyboard, there is a button at the top left, it looks like a keyboard with a gear. Touch that, and you'll see three rows of buttons. The top row is the different keyboard layouts.

From left to right, they are:
  1. Normal touch keyboard
  2. Mobile/swipe keyboard
  3. Handwriting panel
  4. Full-size keyboard layout (replicating a physical desktop keyboard)

if you don't see that, you might not have the Fall Creators Update. If you're not sure, go here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and choose Update Now.

It should use your Windows scaling.

Settings > System > Display > Scale and layout > change the percentage to the size you want

This will resize everything though... not sure if you can resize just the keyboard.

The keyboard is small to make it easy to swipe between letters (so you're not moving your finger across a long distance), although it is definitely a bit on the small side, especially if you're not using the swipe feature.
Maybe submit/upvote that in the Feedback Hub? It won't help immediately, but maybe they'll add resizing in a future update.
