I have an MP3 file of a ringtone that I have put in One Drive from Dropbox - as my phone only gives me the option of getting a file from One Drive. When I access One Drive via my computer, the file is showing as an MP3 file (and plays as an MP3 file), yet accessing One Drive through my phone (a Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 Europe), it is no longer showing as a .mp3 file type. It is therefore not functioning as a ringtone and will not add to the ringtones when I click to add it.
Any ideas on how/why the file has converted and how I can download it as a playable MP3 file? I did not have this problem on my previous two Samsung phones as they weren't forcing me to link to One Drive. I have had to sign up for an account especially just to download and I'm peeved that it is not working.
