I can't retrieve my notes from Kindle Paperwrite to be sent in my email

I managed to email my books from school to my Kindle account so that i can read them on my Paperwrite because they read good and i can magnify the letters, etc..and most of all i can store a collection of notes from these books in the device just by highlighting them, name and save them. However, my biggest problem is to pull these notes from the device to my email so that i can print them and physically share them . It has worked with the Amazon Purchased books, but here i am dealing with books i myself sent to my kindle paperwrite. Please your help is greatly appreciated, i am so desperate that i am considering buying another device from another manufacturer if they can give me that option. Thanks
