Windows Central Question

Tough to ask a concise question. I have followed the process via registry tweak to have Windows create a daily restore point via the Windows Defender registry entry. I am confused with the "DisableRestorePoint" with DWORD "0". What is being disabled? Does this override the restore points that are created by installing/uninstalling apps/drivers, etc? Windows restore doesn't seem to create a point when I think it should.

From past experience 0 = Off and 1= On.

So in your case it would mean the Setting "DisableRestorePoint" is off by default.
