Windows Central Question

Hello,

I am using my old laptop (Sony Vaio VGN-NS21Z) without battery. Since I use it without battery, I plug it out after turning it off. Am I doing right? I am doing this because there is no battery installed and I don't want it to use/waste electricity. After turning it off, does plugging out harms the laptop and does it use electricity if I don't plug it off after turning off? Please don't forget I always use it without battery. Thanks in advance.

Berk :)

If you keep the laptop plugged in, power usage should be negligible - power would likely be drawn to keep a small circuit powered (like that light telling you that its plugged in) but it doesn't make a significant difference in terms of the computer's service life or electricity usage. (maybe over the course of a couple years there will be a difference in power usage)
