What are Microsoft's plans for Office Mobile? Apps haven't been significantly updated since forever.

Does Microsoft have big plans for Office Mobile apps - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook. And why is To-Do app not part of them, like in Web and Win32 versions?

If it's any consolation, Microsoft hasn't done any major changes to the Office Suite on iOS or Android either. They've added some functionality that we've enjoyed on Windows phones from the beginning. If they stay on their present course (2007, 2010, 2013, 2016...) you won't see any "major" changes until 2019 at the earliest. This would coincide with mobile's Last Rites.

@reomw, Microsoft has officially said that that it will no longer support current Windows Phones (W10M) after 2019 and only receiving security and bug fixes until them (no new features), that doesn't mean that there is not a new 'Mobile' device in the works that will run W10 on 64-bit ARM with Andromeda...which would be a new mobile category (a 2-for: pocket PC with phone, running Windows 10)...It also doesn't mean that there is either - but I betting there will be.
