How to install 970 Evo ssd into Dell Inspiron 15 7559 Gaming Laptop?

Windows Central Question

I just bought a 250GB SSD from Samsung (The 970 Evo M.2 SSD just to be exact) and after installing it into the laptop, I can not get Samsung data migration or even the laptops BIOS to recognize that I installed an SSD. How can I fix this? Did I purchase the wrong SSD for this laptop? Please help.
