windows7 laptop - I can see new songs I have downloaded in "my music" but wmp does not show them. I seem to remember in an old wmp there was a prompt for wmp to ask it to go and look in various corners of my laptop but not, it would seem, in the version I am using. It's as tho wmp has stopped talking to "my music". Has anyone had this problem and can anyone suggest a method of forcing wmp to seek out and find my missing tracks. Thank You.

First of all, are the new tracks in a file format that WMP works with so it can see them? (i.e. .MP3 files). Have you tried. Can you select all the music files, right-click and then add them to WMP that way? Does WMP see them then and allow you to play them?
