    I don't see the major tech companies creating their own currency. I believe Microsoft accepts them for some transactions as noted above but it may come and go, especially considering Bitcoin's volatility.

    I didn't know that Microsoft has such department, lol. I have observed that may be company started to develop their own. And I’m sure that the headmasters of such big companies are not idiots, so they know between doing, so cryptocurrency must have really high potential. And I’m sure about that because I am. I tried on a very good cryptocurrency exchange.     MS has no plans for this. But, as said already, they do accept Bitcoin as payment.
