Hello everyone! I just purchased a Surface Go (8GB/128SSD version). I have been a long time Android user for tablets, so I was very excited when I saw that I could use Bluestacks to effectively download Android apps on my Go, but also be able to have the other benefits of having a full Windows 10 system. Best of both worlds!
Unfortunately, Bluestacks (v4.40.10) has been really, really slow. Even opening the program and downloading simple apps takes forever. I honestly won't even use this for gaming, I just want to be able to do crossword puzzles on it haha. I even disabled Enable hardware assisted virtualization in Avast (which I use). I am going to do a Windows Update because it looks like I have a lot of updates to do, but has anyone else experienced this? I know that the Go, even the 8GB variant, is not the most robust machine, but I have a hard time believing that it couldn't handle Bluestacks. Thoughts? I appreciate it.
