Installing 1903 on windows 10

I have 1809 on windows 10. This is on my 17" MacBook Pro(2010). I'm learning the windows system in preparation for buying a new pc, but the 1903 install that came up, has been stalled on 99% for hours. Is this normally the way that new upgrades install? Thanks for any feedback.

It shouldn't take that long. How are you installing it on the MacBook, using Boot Camp?

Yes, i partitioned my hard drive for 250gbs on either side. It's starting to install now, but kind of slow. Thanks.

Finally, it's up and running, or I should say...walking. Edge is just way too slow. It may use more battery, but i'm going back to Chrome as my browser. There aren't enough extensions for Edge+Bing. I'm not giving up on Edge, but i'll wait for about six months and try again. I'm using high speed internet(150 up/150 down) but you'd never know it with Edge. Sorry.

Check out the Dev branch of Edge Chromium instead of using Chrome. I prefer it at least.

I used to use Brave. But then I changed to Edge Chromium and now that's my main browser of choice.

I've updated my 5 year old Yoga 2 Pro to 1903, but Surface GO won't update. Stays on1809. Any suggestions?

Why should anyone use Edge Chromium instead of Chrome? Isn't Chrome enough and fast?

I found that Edge Chromium, to me, is faster. Plus, I'm not really a Google fan, so Edge Chromium kind of gives me the best of both. You should try it.
