Why Is This Weird Tab Appearing On My Desktop?

When I was working on a project and I went to my desktop and then I saw this weird tab on my desktop. All of my desktop icons disappeared until I double clicked the tab and then they reappeared. I tried resetting my laptop and it was fine until this night. I am running the latest version of Windows 10 and my laptop is a Dell Inspiron 3558.
