HDR option wont show on Youtube

[Windows Central Question]

I've been at it for hours and I cant find it im gonna go crazy. I looked in windows settings and turned all those stupid options on and it still wont show in HDR, but i can play HDR 4k games on that same display. What the hell is the issue???

Also, I have an xbox One X HDMI cable, i also have a multi setup screen

Going by the information I know, the quality setting for video watching in YouTube is in the viewing options of the video. Not the PC.

The viewing settings is the cog wheel icon at the bottom and then you click Quality, HDR should show there. I'm not sure if HDR is automatic but typically settings are set for auto.

If you haven't tried this already give it a go.

Yes, this. It's controlled by the video settings, so not all videos may have this option.
