Do you think you need to open the Duo all the way to answer a call?

Having a bit of a thought on this, do you have to always open up the Duo all the way to answer a call?

It seems like a lot of work? On a standard phone you can do it at a glance, maybe touch the phone once and put it to your ear. Here you have to pick up the device unfold it all the way and the accept or reject the call.... it would seem that there should be a way to answer a voice call without having to go the full way around the hinge.

Thoughts?

At the moment this is most likely how it could work. But who knows, as we saw with the Surface Pro-X and how it's keyboard cover can hide the pen, they may think of something clever.

I think they should be working in a way to have the Surface Duo as a one screen device, like common mobile. In order to have it as a mobile if you don't want to be opening it every time. The problem is that both sides of the device are going to be a screen in this mode, which seems a little weak against breaking. But, as I said, they should be searching for the way to make this possible.

, MS is usual pretty good with the user experience so they probably will think of something. Maybe that it is easy to unfold it 90 or 180 degrees with one hand or such (or maybe press a button or open it slightly and it flings open).

there is no other practical solution than providing tiny front screen to show notifications and pick up or reject calls.
Microsoft will be heavily trolled by reviewers if they don't provide such functionality on surface duo.
