As my old and chunky T520 is about to leave this world, I need help and recommendations to find my next laptop.

I have a $1500 spending limit and some mandatory requirements:

    -16:10 / 3:2 screen
    -Max 3 Lbs
    -Numeric keyboard on right side
    -LTE
    -2x Thunderbolt ports
    -Silver / gunmetal

It can be in either a 15 inch or 17 inch size.
I really wanted the X1 but the silver variant seems to have vanished from the Lenovo site.

Does such a dream laptop exist?

I've never used one but the LG gram may be what you're looking for. Amazon currently has a 17" for $1299 US.

Would you not consider a Surface Pro?

X1 is really a good one.
When I was looking for a laptop I was considering a Dell XPS 15' as an alternative to X1.
BTW, Dell XPS is in silver color.
However, I prefer X1 over it for a number of reasons.

I use a Lenovo Thinkpad at work and that's a good laptop, with a very nice keyboard. Go for the X1.

I suggest you the surface pro from microsft. I have one and I like to use it
I would love a Surface Pro. Maybe one day.
