Unable to block r/frugal notifications on windows 10

Daily r/frugal popups from reddit.com are driving me crazy. Can't seem to block or prevent them from showing up on my desktop daily if not more often. Tried virus scans, malware progs, etc., to no avail. Help please?

What browser do you have? Chances are there's a setting in there that can help turn them off. Can you give us more information please?

Mostly the new Microsoft Edge; occasionally, Google Chrome.

Make sure you have ad-blockers installed.

Also, try this:

1. Click the Windows Start button and select Settings.
2. Navigate to Personalization and Lock Screen.
3. Turn off ‘Get fun facts, tips, tricks, and more on your lock screen’.
4. Navigate to Start within Personalization.
5. Turn off ‘Occasionally show suggestions in Start’.
6. Navigate to System within the Settings menu.
7. Scroll to ‘Get notifications from these senders’ and disable everything listed.
8. Navigate to Privacy while in Settings.
9. Disable ‘Let apps use my advertising ID…’.
