Cannot activate windows (10)

[Windows Central Question]

Got a new computer.
Didnt want to buy windows.
Installed windows 10 from a legit usb from work.
Didnt have an activation code.
tried some activation cheats, non worked.
bought a legit windows 10
cannot activate. error code 0xc0020036

what should I do.

try some of the fixes from the following. If none works, you really need to make sure you have a legit os. what verson of win10 do you have, where did you purchase it from and where did you get the current copy of win10 from.
