Windows Central Question

my asus x205ta eebook has stopped working?

I was doing my dissertation and had a number of articles up along with my work, a memory notification continuously popped up and I would then delete tabs but as I pressed OK on one of the notifications, my laptop went black. After about half hour I shut the screen for 10 minutes and when I opened it it was a blue screen with circling white dots. It's been doing this for hours and I need my work as it's in this week.

It's a white, X205TA Eeebook with an intel core processor - lightweight. And was bought in January 2016.

Re: my asus x205ta eebook has stopped working?

Sounds like it is having issues booting.

If you power it on and off a few times (maybe 5 - turn on, wait a minute to see if it gets into Windows and then turn off.) then it will show the troubleshooting menu. It should then offer to fix common boot issues. You can try that. If not, you can then boot to safe mode and copy your important files off onto say a flash drive and then using the various recovery options. Recovery options in Windows 10 - Windows Help
