So much hate for Bing

How would I know? I just explained how google used to be my main search engine and then I switched to bing. Besides, April of 2013...really wasn't that long ago. And sometimes I check google search if I can't find something on Bing, but usually I can't find that query on google neither..

Because, as i already said, bing only gives reliable results in USA, all the cool features are for USA, bing is only cool in USA, clear enough?

Or just try both for yourself. You can easily access them from your web browser and they are both free. No need to look at Microsoft's marketing websites!

I dumped everything Google months ago. I was using Bing well before that and like it much better than Google. The rewards are a plus but I would still use Bing regardless. And yes, I live in the US.

I have to say, I don't get the big thing about Google. I use Bing whenever possible. At work though, they block Bing, not sure why. I seriously must be a low level user, because when I use Bing, I am satisfied with my results. I have not done a side by side test, perhaps I should have done before posted, but I am happy with what Bing throws back.

WOW Some of the comments on here (Mainly those praising Bing) sound like they were written by the same people who do the Cue Cards for bad actors in Infomercials.

Seriously...... No one actually says. "I like Bing because it gives me the information I am looking for in a format I like"
Now I know what happened to all the old MSN Chat Room Host Bots, They became Bing Advertising Bots.

I tried Bing cause it was new and different. I hate how it gets in to everything and keeps asking to be the default search engine like a needy child.
I hate its toolbars & I even hate its stupid name. If you want to know why people hate Bing so much then just Google it like I did ha ha ha.
Due to people at work hating Bing SO much and not being computer literate enough to change their search providers. Every single person has installed either Chrome or Firefox just so they don't have to see the Bing Toolbar in Internet Explorer anymore. Its been a real issue for our I.T. department lately when they tried to launch the company Intranet & found that no one even saw it because the server was only changing the default home page in I.E.
So the only thing I really DO LOVE about Bing is that it has made Google Chrome & Firefox the Preferred Web Browser of slightly technologically disadvantaged people everywhere. I bet if MS did a survey to find out how many people NEVER opened Internet Explorer since Day 1 & only to install Google Chrome, they would suddenly make Google the default search provider & home page very swiftly.

If I NEVER heard another person say the word BING ever again I would be happy. The Stupidly named search engine has even made me dislike on of my previously favorite Friends Characters. Sorry Chandler.. :winktongue:

I so want to like Bing, I love the design of it, I love the different image everyday. But I'm not in the US and I frequently have to resort to Google. With Google I find the thing I'm looking for is usually in the first few results, Bing is often way off.
And obviously we don't get the rewards etc.
I also don't like the name, would be better as something like OneSearch. But that's a minor detail.

From India... I use Bing exclusively for video and image searches as I prefer Bing's layout... Regular searches work well on some queries but then when I'm not satisfied with the result I use Google... I found Google results to be better for local data but else Bing was better.. In fact the results in India have improved during the last few months and they have brought the university ranking information and few others over here too
