Has anyone here used Net10? My Verizon bill has increased by $40/month since I upgraded and now have a shared data plan, so I'm looking at different options.
I am willing to try Straight Talk, but from what I gather from the Net10 website I can use Verizon phones with them as well as AT&T. It would be nice to not have to buy new phones.
Their website says that they will not accept CDMA phones.Where do you see that Net10 will take Verizon phones?

Net10 only allows GSM phones for BYOD.Since America Movil owns Net 10 and Straight Talk, maybe they do. ST has plans for GSM and CDMA using Sprint & Verizon towers. Their CDMA side does not allow BYOD, however.
Shop | NET10You will need a compatible GSM AT&T or T-Mobile phone. You may also use an Unlocked GSM phone compatible with AT&T or T-Mobile. This program/offering does not work with Straight Talk, TracFone, NET10, SafeLink, BlackBerry and/or CDMA phones.
Straight Talk does not allow BYOD if that device is CDMA.Reading on Net10.com gave me the impression Verizon phones could be used. They even have a cdma coverage map. Net10wireless.com doesn't indicate cdma phones can be used. If I can't use my current phones I'll probably end up on straight talk.
