As per title, it's now at least a week since O2 users got 8.1, all I keep on getting from Vodafone is "In about two weeks", does that mean two weeks from the first time I heard it or two weeks from now......

Yea don't trust network estimates. O2 reckon all their users have it now, and then said it would be out on the 12th...

What do they have to do, could they make changes if they don't like it?

Really can't see why they need to do so much testing, some folk have had it on 1520's for 3 weeks.

No idea, mon amie. I just know it's frustrating when the networks aren't part of the equation (I have a SIM free L620), and no sign of any 620s getting it. The CV ones don't need any changes, so in theory shouldn't need to be delayed.

Carriers delay updates.Luckily here the ARPU(average revenue per user) is less so no carrier subisdised contracts here in india.Pure unlocked phones
