My wife had a 920 that she dropped and the screen completely shattered. She is still under the $5 device replacement warranty with AT&T / Asurion. I filled out the online forms and to my surprise they replaced her aging 920 with a brand spanking new Lumia 1520 in white for just $62 because she didn't have any claim for 20 months. So the real cost for her new 1520 is $162 counting the insurance dues for 20 months. Not a bad deal if you ask me.
My original plan was to get a replacement for the 920 and buy her a 1020 since she uses the camera on her phone a lot. To finance the 1020 I would have sold the replacement 920 for $150 to a friend. What do you guys think, should I still get her the 1020 and cash in on the 1520 or should she keep the new 1520?
