AT&T Coverage in Chicago Area?

I'm making the jump from Verizon to AT&T in the near future. I've been a Verizon customer for the entirety of my adult life. The service has always been excellent.

Can anyone in the Chicagoland area speak to how AT&T's coverage is?

AT&T seems to have just as strong a signal in neighborhoods I looked at and lower latency.
