How much is the Straight Talk unlocking "reasonable fee"?

I'm thinking about buying a used Straight Talk phone (Samsung) for my wife on T-Mobile. Her Windows phone is on its last legs. The Straight Talk phone is paid for but the owner got it less than a year ago.

Their web site says they won't unlock for a customer for the first 12 months of service but will unlock for a non-customer for a "reasonable fee" which I think is required by a federal law that protects used phone buyers.

Since they won't say on their website what the "reasonable fee" is, I'd like to hear what anyone had to actually pay to get a used Straight Talk phone unlocked. Or for that matter (if they work and are legal) what they paid for a 3rd party unlocking service to do it.
