When is UK launch ?

I'm guessing early/mid 2015! I live in the UK too and highly wanted a Microsoft Band!

UK release hasn't been announced yet. This is what Microsoft has said:

"This is just the beginning of a multi-year vision for Microsoft in the health & fitness and wearables category. We want to enter this space in a deliberate and measured fashion and as such we are launching first in the United States."

Whatever that means!

I hope they do it before Christmas, I just feel if they don't launch it fast enough worldwide, android ware will be the Standard and smartband will get left out of 3rd party apps.

My guess is they need more data collection to ensure accuracy. With enough data, they can predict when people are sleeping, running vs hiking etc etc. to tune how often to collect data
