Have seen a few reviews now that claim Microsoft band should be worn on dominant hand. This is news to me. I thought I remember Microsoft saying it could be worn on either hand? It's funny seeing reviewers plagerize each other instead of doing some research. The established reviewers should put in a false egg somewhere in the review and see how many following reviews post it as gospel. I wonder if That's why Pogue claimed it has to be worn on dominant hand

There was some guy commenting, saying he wore it all sorts of ways contrary to what the Verge made a big fuss about, about how it can only be worn one specific way.

I wear it on Non Dominant and it works fine for me.

Something to consider this... walking around at home I always fine I have something in my dominant hand, whether it's a cup of drink or kids toy or dinner plate etc. The step algorithm appears to need (at least to start with), arm swings to log that it's walking and so as my Non Dominant hand swings freely when I carry things, causing a more accurate result.

If I'm carrying something like a bag of groceries, I carry it in my non-dominant hand.

During the day I wear mine on my non-dominant hand because that way it doesn't drag on my desk when I use my mouse. I switch hands when I sleep because I've found that the way I sleep (on my front with my right arm underneath me) causes me to put pressure on the band and bruises my wrist.

I have it on my non-dominant during the day because that's what I'm used to. I switch hands at night to give my arm a rest. Otherwise, it would on the same spot for 22/7. (No, that's not a typo.)
