Haha that would never happen here.

In Chicago we are LUCKY to get our mail, let alone ask for a special delivery.

They are instead dropping it at a "UPS Access Point" - they're like lockers built by UPS. You have to scan your id to open the locker its in.

I just wish they would have just delivered it straight there, because now I have to just HOPE it makes it there tomorrow.

UPS and USPS in this city is a joke. Haven't had issues with Fed-Ex.. Yet.

I had something else delivered today, but USPS put it in my neighbor's locked mailbox. So I am waiting for them to get home still. USPS does that to me all the time, because we have similar last names.

Well that's easily fixed. Just put the delivery address for any of your stuff as "Colonel Spacehopper Sapling Giraffe, <your address>".
Even USPS might not get the names confused.
