Question for Fitbit Surge owners.

I currently have the TomTom runner but want to buy the surge due to tomtoms lack of windows support. My only concern is that I use a Bluetooth headset( jabra motion) 80% of the time and want to know if the surge can function properly with the phone (Lumia 1020) and my headset all at the same time.

In the end, what I want is if im wearing my earpiece and have the surge connect and get a call or text, I want it to go the earpiece. I want Cortana to read it to me without it going to the watch .
