My Band's main screen (time and info screen before I swipe) seems to random between steps, date and calories burned. I only want to tit show steps. Where do I change this setting?

You mean it switches automatically date to distance to calories to h/r? I have to hit the action button to toggle the different metrics and it stays on the one I select

you must be hitting the small button, put the screen on steps and only hit the large on button, when you hit the small button it changes the item shown. I hit only the large on button and steps stay on the main screen.

In case you missed this related trick: press the main button then tap the display, which "drills down" into a more detailed view of your steps, distance, calories, and HR. Doing this, by the way, forces the HR to lock, in case you need a live reading. :)

Put it on the main screen with the big button. Then press the small button to choose what you want displayed on the main screen.
