I can vaguely remember reading on here, a user called bobcat or catfish or something, saying that a 3rd party had taken over the development of the rumoured band 3? Do we have any more info on this? Or was it a hoax?

My 2nd band 2 has died, no warranty and I can either buy a 2nd hand one of ebay or gumtree, or move onto to something else. The garmin vivoactive HR looks good....

While I don't recall a specific claim regarding that, I'm sure it's safe to assume that there is no more wearables coming from MS anytime soon. No rumors, no nothing and given the state of Mobile, I believe we've heard the last of Band.

I remember that claim by that user. Same BS as ever "just wait" "cool stuff is coming next patch" "hurr Durr SURFACE PHONE CONFIRMED".

Microsoft is done with wearables for the foreseeable future.

I had posted this link that suggested that Casio might build something that will be using MS's back end.

One of the oddities is that MS says they're sticking with "Health", but without devices to feed it, it's just going to wither away.
