Just been trying this with my 950, first taste of Continuum and I was impressed by how the phone offered a decent desktop experience through the Connect app in Windows 10 Build 14316. Little bit laggy on the graphics for Candy Crush etc. but the wired connection isn't working on this preview build.

I can see how this could be used for locked-down corporate laptops, but staff could play games and other app for their choice using Connect with their mobi.

Could really do with Connect app for iOS so I can get a Windows 10 experience on my iPad...

Can someone please explain me how does this work? This is supposed to be able to use ANY computer running Windows 10 into a "dumb screen" with Continuum, but how? How do you connect the phone with the computer? With the USB cable?

I don't have Build 14316 yet on my Computer as I use it as my daily driver for work. It doesn't have Miracast so I'm still confused as to how does it work. Thanks

no cable is need as you can see in the picture I attached before. I guess the phone and the pc must be under the same network (for example using the same WiFi source) in order for the connect app to work.

just confirmed by an experiment. for wireless connection the phone and the pc must be under the same network. no cable is required. if your pc have touch screen, you can control your continuum section using the touch screen of your pc.
