Issue pairing Apple Wireless Keyboard

So I am heading on a trip in a few weeks and was thinking about bring my MSFT dock along with my 950. At the moment, the only spare compact bluetooth keyboard laying around the house is an Apple Wireless Keyboard. After 10 minutes of struggling to pair it to my 950 (Fast Ring 15043) I tried to pair it to my laptop on Production Ring. In both cases, the phone and computer refused to even see the Apple keyboard as existing. The keyboard has brand new batteries and was on to pair.

I read this post and tried the command + W trick but still no luck. Any ideas guys?
