Cortana vs Region - Canada

I have read the posts on how to enable Cortana when outside the US and can live with the implications if they are only limited to app purchases when I change the region on my phone. I have 2 questions.

- I have a Canadian Xbox Music subscription. If I change the region will this still work?

- if I change the region back to Canada to do an app purchase, will Cortana still remember my personalized settings or will have to start from scratch again?

Your help, as always is much appreciated.

I don't have the answer to your questions, but if you have a HTC phone, chances are you can't enable Cortana anyway. (HTC did not provide English-US as an available phone language,which as you know is required to enable Cortana - 'phone language' is not the same as region/keyboard/speech, at least on HTC).
