Cortana has been a bit moody, recently. Previously, I would say, 'set an alarm for 30 minutes from now' and all was good. Yesterday, I tried it and all I got was a Bing search for alarms. Tried 'set an alarm for 10 minutes' - Bing, 'set an alarm for 10 minutes, from now' - Bing, then just 'set an alarm' - again, Bing search. Today, she's back to 'normal'. Strange.

Do you have a third party alarm app installed? I used to use 627am and it caused issues with cortana and alarms . I think I could have told cortana to open the app and set an alarm. It was easier to uninstall the app and just talk with cortana

best plan is say "wake me up at...." You don't have to be asleep! Though if it is afternoon / evening you will have to say "......pm" becuse her default is am. Works every time

Setting alarms is just about the only thing I use Cortana for at the moment... (in the UK, and most things done via cortana goto bing.).

I use the command "Set alarm 5:45am". It hasn't yet failed to recognise that.
