Cortana- Selection for directions, how can I get it to go where I want?

Cortana- Selection for directions

Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere. I didn't see anything so I thought I would ask in a new thread. When I ask Cortana for directions on my Windows Phone (Lumia 640) it works fine if to someplace like my home. If I ask for directions to a place that has multiple locations, like a food chain, when I select which location I want it will not pull the directions up. It just goes back to the list of locations. Has anyone else had this problem and if so does anyone have a fix?

Haven't had this issue at all.

Are you "tapping" the screen to select? If you select the name of the place, it will go back to the list. You have to type type blue link that says "directions" in order to pull up the directions.
