    Does dell planning on removing baterry overheat on this tablet via some softwer update or dell already drop support for this device?

    No, because I don't think its particularly common? At least from what I see.

    Best take it in for service, esp. if under warranty.

    also, it looks like they still support it, but we dont hear much about updates or stuff released by OEMs.

    Have you tried the bios update to 09 it helped the heat problems on both my 32 and 64 . Doesn't get as hot . Maybe I would say just warm.

    I would try a full wipe before I put the heat down to the battery alone.
