I won a 32 GB Venue 8 Pro (3845) that shipped with 8.1. I swear activating the Dell backup tool doubled the size of the recovery partition, and the Dell tools won't let me shrink/resize it. Can anyone validate what the recovery partition size *SHOULD* be? I see 3 partitions in disk management. A 500 MB System, 9.76GB Recovery and 18.75 OS. I tried multiple restores/return to factory and the partition size never shrinks. I updated to Windows 10 hoping that would resize but no go. I don't have anything installed on this tablet. I even uninstalled office, and I still only have 2.78 GB free.

If you have Windows 10 installed and want to stay on it then I would suggest performing a clean install to save space. You can get the ISO from Microsoft, boot it from a USB drive and perform a clean install. With touch office installed, I have more than 20GB free space on Windows 10.
