A bit too expensive so far. If Asus can include a keyboard for under $399, why Dell can't include a basic keyboard and 4gb ram for $549.99. For something called pro.... Might as well get a first gen Surface Pro with i5.

x64 Windows 8 doesn't have a connected standby feature yet, hence most tablets being x86. And from everything I've heard the Atom version will start at $499, never trust amazon prices before the product actually releases.

The Pentium option has me wondering how well it will run compared to the bay trail atoms. And how battery efficient it will be. Also if it will be fanless.

They're missing a 1080p display and they use a lower configuration of Atom (admittedly not a big difference). Also, the T100 is slightly smaller and I think the venue 11 pro should be a bit better built.

If the Pentium can provide similar battery life to the Atom version, I would be tempted... 4GB Ram should help alot for some basic applications. I really wish there were some 3-4GB Atom versions, personally. I want 4GB Ram but it seems you have to trade thickness and possibly battery life and the fan for it.

Indeed 4GB of ram would be useless until beginning of next year. True about pricing, it has changed again.

Update - The 11 Pro has now disappeared from Amazon.com - hopefully just in preparation for a price correction and actually being released.
