External Mouse and Keyboard Not Waking Dell XPS 13

I am using my new Dell XPS 13 as a desktop. I have a mouse, keyboard, and monitor all hooked up through the USB-C. When I put the computer to sleep, I cannot wake it using the mouse and keyboard. I have to open up the laptop slightly and then the monitor comes on. I went through the energy settings, but I can't find an issue. I'm pretty sure it's not going into hibernation. I also went through device management and made sure the boxes were checked for allow this device to wake the computer from sleep under both the keyboard and mouse and they were. However, I'm not sure if these devices correspond to the external mouse and keyboard. Anyone have any suggestions to fix this problem? Thank you.
