[APP][BETA] GPS Calculator PRO [R] 11 APR 2012 [V] 5.5

Hello again fellow windows phone 7 users! Once again I?m looking for people willing to participate in the private beta-testing program of my newest app. The app to be released is called ?GPS Calculator PRO? and it will be an even more advanced version of the most advanced GPS calculations app ?GPS Calculator?. Currently this app can be used to accurately calculate distances, get altitude information from digital elevation models, calculate areas, project locations and convert coordinates between several different formats, including UTM. New version adds an advanced trip computer, track recording and SkyDrive integration and track and waypoints (favorites) import/export using GPX format. GPS Calculator PRO is an old style app that cannot be described using words like social or fun, but can definitely be described as useful, interesting and doing advanced math. Now, if you use SkyDrive, if you hike, bike or run, if you like GPS technology or want to learn more about it ? I need your help.

I have a complaint on [h=1]GPS Calculator PRO [V] 5.9[/h]Area calculation - Marker can't be placed on the exact position since it would be under the finger holding it. If you try More than two times to move it to the exact position you want, the marker moves the marker to a point of its own (at the top such that you have to scroll the map to see it). Suggestion: If point/marker could be moved the same way we do when correcting text messages on wp8, the cursor would be above your finger & can be placed exactly where you want it to be, or you can make it spin so that the bottom part would be on top/visible so that the marker can be placed on the exact position. please enable us to use Nokia maps as well.

THERE IS NO WHERE TO GIVE YOU FEEDBACK ON YOUR APPLICATION, SO HOW DO WE RISE OUR CONCERNS???

Hello muvig,

Thank you for raising your complaint! I sure appreciate all the feedback for the app.

1. I can implement the feature to more accurately position the marker like you describe. Would you be willing to beta-test if I do that?

2. Nokia maps are only available on WP8. Rewriting the app for WP8 is a big commitment and while I do want to make it in future, I currently don't have an ETA when I will get to it. Also unfrotunately I do not own a WP8 device.

3. If you open appbar (three little dots on the right), there is a email icon. This icon allows you to send feedback directly to me by email

Got GPS calculator-pro.
One question: when saving-copying the .gpx track file from my Nokia to my PC, can't have the track and the waypoints on the same map ?
Did I miss something ?

H! Thank you!Yes, I have separate screens to save tracks and waypoints, so you get two different files.
