Background color of focused textBox

ok so am trying to make my textbox's completely transparent, however, changing the background when focused seems to be an issue. I have used expressionblend to create a template, and it technically works, but there are blue lines underneath the attribute which calls the style, in every textbox that uses it. I don't get thrown an error when debugging, but performance seems to have decreased since i changed this. is there a way to just set the focused background and focoused foreground in the xaml? i think expression blend needs some work.... it's awesome and i've used it for some nice design stuff, but ive noticed stuff that seems to work fine on there doesn't always work great on the actuall code. I can't change button backgrounds when clicked either or it throws an error (so an attribute to make the background and foreground when focused on this would be nice too)
