Problem updating 7720 from 7712

I successfully installed 7720 from 7712, but had an issue with maps so decided to revert back to NoDo backup I made prior doing Mango Beta 1 update.

I went through the zune backup process but about 70% through there was an error and now the phone is stuck on the "Connect phone to PC" screen....
I have no idea how to get this working now, as there was nothing to interrupt the restoration process.

Can you help?

Do I have to flash the NoDO ROM again through bootloader like I did to get NoDo?

Sounds like it. If the phone can't boot to the OS, the only way to get back to a bootable state it reflashing it.

By the sounds of it, my backup I made on NoDo "preMango" went corrupt....
So, in your opinions; the only way is to do this?
