Need some help with developing

I have windows 8.1 installed, so i should be able to code wp 8 apps, but i only have a 32 bit machine, which means i cant use the 8.0 sdk

And now because i'm using windows 8.1 i can't install the 7.1 sdk because it has any compatibility issues.

Does anyone have any idea what i can do?

Unfortunately I think your only option is to upgrade

It's not the best option out there, but maybe you could dual boot Win 8 and Win 7 (or whatever previous version of windows you have that the 7.1 SDK will run on).

Upgrade/re-install Win8.1. It won't cost a thing. Just need to get your hands on the 64-bit installer. You product key will still work on it. You can then write apps for both WP8 and WP7 with Visual Studio for Windows Phone.

I'm using Win8.1 at the moment, but my system is only 32-bit compatible. i'll just have to upgrade my system. Thank you for your reply though!
