Help with exception 0x80131623

[SevenDPI]

I made an app and it shows that it has crashed hundreds of time from the windev center thing. I downloaded the dump from them and the exception and this is what it says. if you need anything like the code of the spreadsheet from MS let me know. I do not like having an app that crashes on everything but my HTC 8X

It could be that you are using a certain method with the wrong event handler. It's far too ambiguous a code to tell anything from.

Because its happening in the headless host, its happening in a scheduled task. You might be running out of memory or your task is running too long.

Thanks for that, I've got a minidump file that's basically the exact same.

How can I monitor the time of the task (I know there's a limit for a WP8 scheduled task, ) or the amount of memory my scheduled task is using? For the timing it is easy enough to use a timer and have the schedule task end gracefully before the OS kills it.

The other things to note are:

Both periodic and resource-intensive agents are unscheduled if they exit two consecutive times due to exceeding the memory quota or any other unhandled exception. The agents must be rescheduled by the foreground application.

AND

Periodic agents typically run for 25 seconds. There are other constraints that may cause an agent to be terminated early.

I have used a live tile to see how much memory a background task is using in the past. If I recall correctly, Stefan Wick gave me the idea in last year's Build. I think it was in this video: Windows Phone: Developer Best Practices & How to Maximize Performance | Build 2013 | Channel 9
If you haven't watched the Build videos you should check them out. In general, the content on channel9 is very useful in my opinion.
