    If my computer works on 32bit windows 7 pro rather than 64bit windows 7 or windows 8, can I develop apps?

    Last I checked windows 8 was a prerequisite...blows, I know!

    I think you need Windows 8 64 bit. However you could probably use the App studio on your current setup for basic stuff.

    There's a workaround to get it on 7, but you need 64-bit, no getting around that
